Sponsored Review: Steam Cream

Saturday, February 11, 2012

Have you heard about Steam Cream? I've heard about it years ago when i was actively spree shopping and everybody was raving about it but i've only got to try it out recently when i was sent a tin of this for review purposes.

The design i picked was from the January 2012 series: Amani Na Upendo

Which was designed by African artist Mustapha, creates a beautiful world where giraffes, elephants, zebra, chimpanzees and monkeys gathered peacefully under the mystical baobab tree.

What's so special about Steam Cream?

SteamCream is handmade in the UK and Japan with fresh natural ingredients, such as oatmeal, glycerine, almond, jojoba oil, cocoa butter & orange flower water which hydrates, soften & improve elasticity of your skin.

They use a unique method of bounding the vegan moisturizer and the above raw ingredients via a steam infused process. Because of this process, the steamcream breaks down immediately upon contact of the skin and it's easily absorbed and hydrates my skin without leaving a sticky icky feeling - especially in Singapore where we have such humid weather, a thick sticky cream is a definite no-no!

It suppose to be a moisturizer for your Face, Body & Hands. For me it gets a little too oily for my face (because i already have oily skin to start with anyway), but i LOOOOOVE to use it on my body, hands and feet.. I usually apply it after my shower and because it's infused with Lavender & other pure essential oils, it creates a relaxing and calming effect.

Recently my hair has been a little cranky and dry - looking like a stack of hay haha, and i tried applying a small dollop of steamcream in my dry hair and it's crazy but it works better than my hair essence/serums!

Love it that it's smoothen out my crazy dry hair and that it doesn't weight it down at all!

Great that it comes in a small dainty tin, so gonna bring it to 台湾 to make sure my skin is well hydrate when i'm 1500 m above sea level when i'm in 清境,
gonna be cold and dry so it'll come in handy! See how much luggage space and weight i can save for my moisturizers to bring for travel?

What makes Steam Cream even more unique is its packaging. This moisturizer comes in many different eye-catching and constantly changing graphic-art aluminium flushed lid tins that are designed in Japan. Once sold out, these limited edition eco-friendly tins become a uniquely collectible piece of art and you can store your trinkets, rings etc after finish using the SteamCream!

hello킴벌리, You can either ship via international shipping or a cheaper alternative is spending 25 or 30usd and above, get the free US ground shipping and forward to a shipping forwarding service company like comgateway or vpost, comgateway is cheaper btw!
